Child Labour often occurs due to lack of awareness and ignorance of risks, and that is why raising awareness on the issue of child labour, slavery, trafficking and importance of education is essential and forms a core part of our work.
As the largest and most representative international organisation comprising of civil society, trade unions, and teacher organisations, united to eliminate child labour from the world, Global March uses this strength to raise awareness amongst general public, families, children, youth, women, teachers, communities, governments, Parliamentarians, non-governmental organisations, businesses and other stakeholders to prevent child labour, slavery, trafficking; protect survivors, improve and formulate new child-friendly policies and advocate for a world free of such forms of violence against children.
We forge creative collaborations across the globe and use different forms of media and opportunities to spread the word to mobilise and expand our outreach efforts, for the betterment of children across the globe.
