ANPPCAN Tanzania convened the Tanzania Chapter meeting of Parliamentarians Without Borders for Children’s Rights in April 2019 where they presented a concept note to the MPs, finalised the PWB guidelines and initiated a dialogue on key issues of child labour and trafficking, out of school children, expanding budgets for children and education, identified gaps in laws/policies on child rights, and strengthening MPs’ engagement further. This was further corroborated with a follow up meeting in July 2019 where the consolidated PWB Tanzania Chapter guidelines were signed by the PWB Chairman Hon. Hamidu Bobali and submitted to the Parliamentarian Secretary.
