Regional Meeting on Area-Based Approaches (ABA) for the prevention and elimination of child labour in Lima, Peru. The event will bring together different actors at the regional and national level to exchange experiences and challenges, as well as to jointly explore new aspects of interventions that can serve as key tools to accelerate progress towards a child labour free region. The Regional Initiative Latin America and the Caribbean Free of Child Labor/ILO and Global March against Child Labour are organising the event in collaboration with its peruvian members CESIP( Centro de Estudios Sociales y Publicaciones) and DyA (Desarrollo y Autogestion).

This Meeting is part of a series of events under the Catalyst project, funded by USDOL, that have been held in other regions such as East Africa (June 2023 – Uganda), South and Southeast Asia (December 2023 – Nepal) and West Africa (May 2024 – Ghana).
