Child Rights Club Members Stand for Child Rights in Tanzania

On 4 November 2019, Global March Against Child Labour staff and Anglophone Regional Coordinator and Board Member, visited the Kibangu English Medium School in Dar Es Salaam and interacted with the  Child Rights Club members established at the school level with the support of Global March’s member, ANPPCAN Tanzania.

The young girls and boys of the Child Rights Club introduced themselves and presented a creative skit on some of the most pressing child rights issues in the country such as exploitation, discrimination, abuse and lack of education faced by vulnerable children in Africa; enacting a story of an albino child.
After the skit, the children sang a self-made song on the principles of child rights and pledged to raise awareness amongst their communities about them and stand up against child labour.
