HANDBOOK FOR PARLIAMENTARIANS FOR PREVENTION OF CHILD LABOUR

Child labour is rst and foremost a form of abuse against its most immediate and frequent victims, namely children. The repercussions of child labour are damaging to the physical, mental, social, spiritual and moral wellbeing of children. Child labourers are forced to work for long hours in repetitive jobs, all which numbs their creativity, while destroying the level of dignity they should enjoy by the virtue of being human, and more importantly being children.
