For the last 16 years, BSAF has been organising Child Rights Week at the national and district levels in Bangladesh. The Child Rights Week is commemorated every year with a variety of events in which a huge number of children participate. This year the Government of Bangladesh declared 05 October – 11 October, 2020 as Child Rights Week. This year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, BSAF and Ministry of Women and Children Affairs (MoWCA), Bangladesh, celebrated Child Rights Week week by hosting a nationwide poster making campaign, art competition and a talk show with former child labourers and policy makers on a TV Channel.

At the local level, BSAF in collaboration with Nari o Shishu Kallayan Sangstha (NSKS), organised rallies, awareness campaigns, art competitions and disseminated child labour and violence against children data to local news papers for publishing during the Child Rights Week.
